DSL Internet access is a relatively newer high-speed broadband technology that transmits digital data over your existing analog telephone lines. Because DSL doesn?t share bandwidth like Cable access, data transmission is much more consistent. Cable Internet access uses the same coax cable as your TV, and shares bandwidth amongst all the other Cable Internet access subscribers on your street. DSL access has dedicated bandwidth so there is no bandwidth sharing involved.
